A Mad Tea Party

Jay’s images have started to pop up in our Flickr Pool and he subsequently got in touch…
Currently based in Rome, Italy, his images are primarily street photographs that convey a sense of unease and loneliness:

“When I was a kid I used to live in very deserted areas when I was one of the few kids around.
My inspiration is that loneliness feeling projected on things that I I meet during the day. Reality is what I see and imagine in my mind and my photography is what it comes out of my memories and imagination mixed with the real world. Imagine like a sort of slow motion movie of your youth, slightly out of focus and programmed in a bad theatre”
