Tomas Rotger

Tomas Rotger is a photographer from Menorca, a small island int the Mediterranean sea.
After picking up a camera in 1996, Tomas has been shooting predominantly black and white and experimenting with different versions of the zone system.

“My favorite subjects to photograph are portraits and my most personal and intimate view of any subject, as I explain on my website, photography for me is: “Writing with light” and “An intense inner visual journey”. In short, my images are a visual extension of me and my way of seeing and looking.”

“I do not accept commercial work, I’m a fine-art photographer, only projects that interest me, therefore I’m a poor photographer ; Although it’s usual that people request me to photograph some events and situations, I eventually will accept those that be interesting for me (and helps me to survive); in the other way, sometimes I ask to them, such as this concert:”
