Erica Lou is a 21 year old graduate photographer from Lisbon, Portugal.
These images come from an ongoing project that records her relationship with her grandmother, all images have been been self processed and were sent over to us with the statement…

“This project it’s about my grandmother. She’s alive and I love her and when I go visit her I always feel the need to photograph everything in that house. I think it’s my way of trying to apologize myself for not having photographed my grandfather when he was healthy and during his sickness too. Now he’s gone and I regret. That house changed a lot since his death but it still has a bit of him. Every time I go there I leave with 1, 2 rolls done. I really want to keep her memory with me, since I didn’t do that with him.“
