Peril Exhibition
October 6, 2012
The Brooklyn based Bluetan Collective have sent us over info about a group exhibition they will be taking part of. 12 local and international artists have come together to display a varied collection of ambiguous work ranging from the neo-traditional paintings of Steve Chellis and Michael Polomik, the visceral non-objective work of Joseph O’Neal and Joe Strasser, to the illustrative tattoo-inspired style of Yovanni del Rio and Gabriel Pantoja. The act of creating requires oneself to be put in to various mental states ranging from solemn comfort to disturbing anguish. In this manner all artists go about their process at their own peril.
