Don Hudson – From The Archives

In you are in Paris on the 18th October Editions FP & CF will be launching From The Archives , the first monograph devoted to the work of Don Hudson, an amateur photographer born in Detroit (USA) at Le Bal.
From The Archives is his first book and shows nearly a hundred photographs taken in the years 70/80 and presents an intimate portrait of an entire community. These photographs, taken at political rallies, fairs or football, demonstrate the peaceful life of the American Midwest without however falling into the ordinary and commonplace announced.
Each scene is an excuse to catch a fugitive and incongruous situation.
