Aitor Gametxo

Aitor Gametxo is a 23 year old Basque photographer and film maker, whilst his film work takes a documentary approach and is mainly based on real life scenarios his photography explores the boundary of the sign in as a constructed reality. when talking about his work he told us,

“I’m captivated specially by sunlight, reflections, images, shadows, traces… in the end, any tangible thing which is able to express something intangible. I also like underlining the role of the photographer with its environment.  Through the photographs someone takes pieces of his or her reality but also he or she becomes part of it.”….
